Book Review - The Spider Sapphire Mystery (Nancy Drew Series) Book Author - Carolyn Keene



The main character in this book is Nancy Drew. She is an amateur detective from River heights. She is involved in yet another mystery in this book. Carson Drew, her father who is a lawyer, is working on a case and has handed it over to Nancy . It involves a stolen spider sapphire. Mr Ramsay is claimed have stolen it, as he owns one that is exactly like the one that has been stolen.

But the people who have really stolen it are two Indians - Jahan and Dhan. These thieves try to keep Nancy from interfering by giving her some bad surprises throughout. Nancy learns that the real spider sapphire has a spider in it that has spinnerets unlike the artificial one.

Later Nancy Drew meets Madame Bulawaya who tells her about her lost brother Tizam. With this intention on mind as well
,Nancy Drew travels to Africa and is on a Safari with her friends. There they face some problems laid down by the Jewel thieves. They have an encounter with Mr Tagore, who is the owner of the real Spider Sapphire.

On their journey they learn a lot about Tizam from the people of Africa who is said to have been killed by a lioness. Nancy finds him in Nairobi having lost his memory.
Nancy Drew brings back his memory somehow and then she goes about finding the Spider Sapphire using her detective mind.

This is a well written book, maintains the suspense all through the book and opens the secrets one by one. Makes a good reading for those addicted to the Nancy Drew Series of Mystery stories. This
Nancy Drew book from Carolyn Keene is worth being in your library.
